Geoff works to create a collaborative, non-judgemental space where people can feel safe exploring their fears, anxieties, relationships, and life’s bigger questions. Guided by empathy and curiosity, he helps individuals and couples uncover old patterns that may no longer be serving them and find new ways of relating to themselves and others.
His approach is primarily psychodynamic, which means looking beneath the surface to better understand the experiences and emotions shaping your life today. For couples, Geoff uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to explore the emotions and attachment wounds behind recurring patterns of conflict or disconnection, helping partners build stronger, more secure relationships.
Geoff brings a wealth of life experience to his work as a therapist. Before becoming a psychotherapist, he worked as a professional audio engineer and touring musician, a creative services representative and project manager, and in caregiving and advocacy roles supporting people through end-of-life issues, acute care, and disability. These experiences shaped his deep respect for people’s stories and his commitment to helping others navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding.
A Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Geoff holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an Honours BA in Human Relations and Spirituality from Saint Paul University.
